“A childhood without books – that would be no childhood. That would be like being shut out from the enchanted place where you can go and find the rarest kind of joy.” - Astrid Lindgren
I've always loved books. For every holiday, birthday, or celebration, my request was always: "more books, please!" This love for literature has really helped shape who I am today. I found myself in characters, got lost in different worlds, and began to write stories of my own. This is so important for children. Reading unlocks so many doors. From connecting with characters, to having the skills necessary to complete further grades, to developing writing skills, children's literature has been and will always be important. Please use the links below to find out more about children's literature, my reading list, poetry, and social issues. Thank you!
